Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, strengths, and areas requiring support.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, nurses, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, particularly during treatment planning and implementation.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and the role of medications in the care plan.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing approved evidence-based modalities to promote healing and recovery.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, integrating patient goals and preferences to facilitate engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Assist patients in navigating the mental health system, advocating for their rights, and ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support.
