Job Title : Business Systems Analyst - Healthcare

Remote - 100%

ForceSmiths is retained by a reputable Pharma client for filling key positions in their software development and solutions team. We are currently hiring for the position of Business Systems Analyst.

Ideal Candidate is one having experience and knowledge of business processes in a typical healthcare company, able to extract business requirements from conversations with business, analyze the business value of requirements and translate them to user stories .

Applicants are expected to have worked in regulated industries with stringent compliance.

Primary Skills – Requirements

•Help facilitate requirements gathering sessions, break epics into small valuable stories and identify clear and concise user acceptance tests and business rules for each story.

•Schedule and facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with the right SMEs, Product Manager, and business stakeholders.

•Create User Stories, Business Process Diagrams (BPMN, UML) for current and future state.

•Ensure that client's needs are appropriately incorporated into priorities backlog.

•Ensure all scope changes have been appropriately captured and documented in the requirements backlog.

•Document and organize requirement artifacts, link any additional artifacts such as process diagrams, UI Prototypes so they are accessible from one location for the team.

Primary Skills – Testing

•Perform functional and user interface (UI) testing.

•Develop UAT test plans to be used by the business.

•Work closely with the business and testers to track testing progress for each story.

•Facilitate UAT sessions with the business and capture changes as new requirements in Jira.

Primary Skills – Agile Cadence

•Work with the development team and other technical team members to ensure features/functionality are developed according to the business requirements.

•Helps develop, maintain, and prioritize product backlog.

•Helps ensure that development work maximizes value and is aligned with overall business and product strategy.

•Works with key business stakeholders to ensure successful product rollouts and releases.

•Ensure that the stories, test cases and business rules are clear, and easily understood by the business and developers.

•Look ahead with the Product Owner to define stories and test cases for the next iteration and provide a clear definition requirements.

•Organize the agenda for the sprint demo and record any new requirements mentioned during the meeting as new user stories.

Secondary Skills

•Proficient in using Jira or similar story management applications.

•Stays up to date on emerging technology trends.

Technology Experience

•Experience in CRM, ERP, or native software development like .Net or Java.

CERTIFICATIONS

•IIBA, PMI-PBA or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst

•A high level of proficiency with MS Visio and Excel

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
