About the Business Development Representative - Digital Ads:

MarketStar is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support a leading digital advertising and media technology platform. In this role, you will engage prospective advertisers through outbound prospecting efforts, generate qualified sales opportunities, and help drive pipeline growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional looking to build expertise in digital advertising, media technology, and business development.

Location:Ogden, UTHybrid

What Will You Do?

  • Engage prioritized advertiser prospects through strategic outbound prospecting activities.

  • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns utilizing email, phone, and social selling techniques.

  • Qualify prospective advertisers by identifying business needs, platform fit, timing, budget, and readiness to engage.

  • Schedule and coordinate qualified discovery conversations with sales stakeholders.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of prospect interactions, qualification criteria, next steps, and engagement activities within CRM systems.

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth lead handoff and opportunity progression.

  • Track and report outreach activity, response rates, qualified meetings, and pipeline contribution metrics.

  • Participate professionally in client-facing and internal meetings, representing MarketStar with excellence.

  • Other applicable duties as assigned.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • 1-2 years of Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or related sales experience.

  • Experience in outbound prospecting, including email, phone, and social media outreach.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with prospective clients.

  • Digital advertising, ad buying, media technology, or platform sales experience preferred.

  • Strong time management, organizational, and CRM management skills.

  • Ability to assess prospect needs and effectively qualify sales opportunities.

  • Comfortable participating in client-facing discussions and presenting professionally in virtual meetings.

  • English language proficiency required; Mandarin fluency preferred for international market coverage.

  • Ability to work standard business hours aligned with assigned region.

Compensation Range: $40,000-$50,000 USDper year.

The hourly pay range for this position is between $19.23and $21.63USD. This pay structure may also include a variable bonuscomponentof $5,000.00USD annually.
