Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clientsโ€™ eating disorder symptoms as well as any co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring an accurate understanding of their treatment needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans informed by assessment findings, setting realistic and achievable goals in collaboration with clients.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), specifically targeting the recovery from eating disorders.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that help clients address and reshape distorted beliefs about body image, food, and self-worth.
  • Assist clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms, emotional regulation skills, and practical strategies for resisting disordered eating behaviors.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care effectively, ensuring continuity in the treatment process and addressing clientsโ€™ holistic needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT, DBT, and ACT, with a focus on treatment for eating disorders.
