This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will conduct therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing modern technology to reach and affect change in the lives of clients across various locations. As part of our remote team, you will collaborate closely with fellow professionals to ensure high-quality care delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ eating disorder symptoms as well as any co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring an accurate understanding of their treatment needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans informed by assessment findings, setting realistic and achievable goals in collaboration with clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), specifically targeting the recovery from eating disorders.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that help clients address and reshape distorted beliefs about body image, food, and self-worth.
• Assist clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms, emotional regulation skills, and practical strategies for resisting disordered eating behaviors.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care effectively, ensuring continuity in the treatment process and addressing clients’ holistic needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to foster a better understanding of eating disorders and to promote supportive recovery environments.
• Document clients’ progress, therapy sessions, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and opportunities for professional development to enhance your clinical skills and broaden your expertise in eating disorder treatment.

Your primary focus will be working with clients struggling with a range of eating disorders. These individuals often face complex challenges tied to their relationships with food, body image, and self-esteem. With a compassionate approach, you will help them navigate their recovery paths, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT, DBT, and ACT, with a focus on treatment for eating disorders.
• A deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders, including the potential for co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• A minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience in a mental health counseling role, specifically with clients facing eating disorders.
• Experience facilitating telehealth sessions and utilizing digital tools for client engagement.
• Previous work in multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.

• Annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and specialization.
