The opportunity
The Marketing Automation Manager helps drive adoption of marketing automation through the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and industry-leading engagement strategies. In this role, you will build communication journeys for prospective students inclusive of emails, text messages, and personalized landing pages in order to nurture them through the enrollment funnel. This role focuses on both campus and online marketing automation workflows. The Marketing Automation Manager will be tasked with building Marketing Cloud Journeys, writing SQL, and building automations. Additionally, the role involves creating email templates, collaborating with creative for content, and performing QA on new and existing marketing automation journeys. You will report to the Director Marketing Automation. #LI -Remote
What you'll do:
  • Promote adoption within the university-wide marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Support the refinement and monitoring of marketing automation KPI's to drive business impact through a performance marketing mindset.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to help design multi-channel engagement strategies, capable of adapting to the ever-changing needs of the business.
  • Support a best-in-class Marketing Automation QA process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of communications from Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Help drive best practices within the Marketing Automation platform and surrounding marketing technology solutions.
  • You will champion international email compliance initiatives, within Marketing Cloud, in support of CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional stakeholders, including the marketing automation teams to adapt and support prospective communications, with an eye towards optimizing the enrollment experience through relevance and personalization.
  • Assist with daily operations within Marketing Cloud, including compliance, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What we're looking for:
  • 3 years of marketing automation experience and managing marketing technology solutions
  • 2 years of CRM experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience understanding and anticipating dependencies across complex systems.
  • Experience communicating complex ideas and processes to business stakeholders.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $64,283.00 - $102,872.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $71,033.00 - $96,103.00.
