What are the typical daily responsibilities of a remote automation?

This often involves collaborating with software engineers, QA teams, or operations staff through virtual meetings, code reviews, and agile task management systems. The opportunity
The Marketing Technology Automation Manager will use marketing technology and engagement strategies to optimize student and prospect communications and improve student success through marketing automation tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will collaborate with internal partners to provide technical guidance and strategic insights to improve processes and streamline operations. As a subject matter expert, you will enhance the customer experience while promoting a culture of learning, innovation, and growth within the team.
In this role, you will play a key part in architecting, integrating, and optimizing complex marketing technology ecosystems that drive student engagement and success. You will bridge the gap between digital marketing strategy and technical implementation, leveraging expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, API development, system integration, and iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Airtable, and Zapier. This position reports to the Director of Marketing Automation. #LI-Remote
What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand their challenges and project requirements. Use insights to adapt and support student/prospect communications, with a focus on optimizing the student experience through relevance and personalization. Ensure the compatibility of applicable components for efficient operation and seamless integration within the marketing tech stack.
  • Review marketing systems and operations to identify opportunities for improvement using API connected middleware like Workato, Zapier, Airtable, etc.
  • Advance previously identified marketing automation initiatives, prioritizing work that improves student engagement and success.
  • Apply hands-on experience in Email and SMS Journey development, automations, and SQL including error handling, troubleshooting, monitoring data flow, and payload delivery. Offer technical support and promote a cooperative environment toward the successful completion of projects.
  • Verify and test the scalability and longevity of solutions, using an approach focused on identifying and addressing potential issues early. Monitor solutions and perform necessary maintenance operations for any related solutions.
  • Document operationalization instructions, design specifications, and other related information. Maintain comprehensive records to support effective future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Foster learning and growth within the team. Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, to help promote a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of direct hands-on experience Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo building Email & SMS journeys, managing system integrations and API connections between Marketing automation applications.
  • 3+ years of CRM experience
  • 5+ years of experience coding email and landing pages with strong proficiency in SQL (data extensions, complex queries, joins), AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), and web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven hands-on experience with Middleware tools such as Workato, Airtable, or Zapier.

We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated. So if you're wondering whether SNHU is right for you, take the leap and apply. You might be just the person we're looking for.
Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $77,794.00 - $124,491.00.
