• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments by interviewing patients, observing their interactions, and reviewing relevant medical records to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors that may impact recovery.
• Offer direct counseling and emotional support to patients and their families, addressing specific adjustment issues and enhancing their overall well-being.
• Collaborate with our rehabilitation team to design and execute individualized treatment plans that factor in patients' psychosocial needs alongside their physical rehabilitation goals.
• Facilitate access to community resources and services such as support groups or vocational rehabilitation programs that can enhance recovery.
• Participate actively in discharge planning, ensuring that transitions from our care facility to home or other settings are seamless and well-coordinated.
• Provide ongoing education to patients and families regarding post-rehabilitation resources, fostering an environment of support and understanding.

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from a variety of life-changing events, including strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological disorders. As an LCSW, your work will significantly influence their emotional recovery and reintegration into their communities. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical knowledge and practices.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), allowing you to practice in the state of Texas legally.
• Proficient understanding of psychosocial dynamics, including adjustment issues, grief, and various coping strategies that assist in the healing process.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for both one-on-one interactions with clients and for collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Experience working in rehabilitation or medical settings is highly desirable, as it lends insight into clinical practices and patient care dynamics.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, with additional performance-based bonuses.
