In light of ongoing health considerations, this position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while still allowing collaborative interactions with our dedicated team. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule within a structured framework, with required hours typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some adjustments may be necessary to accommodate the needs of your clients, ensuring they receive timely and effective support.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and identify suitable therapeutic approaches.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on enhancing resilience and coping skills.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with strategies to process trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment delivery.
• Respond to trauma-related crises, providing immediate support and interventions to clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, adaptive coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending team meetings and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Stay abreast of contemporary research and developments in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic practices.

Your primary focus will be on serving individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role demands a compassionate understanding of the unique challenges faced by trauma survivors and a commitment to fostering a safe healing environment. You will work directly with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders alongside expertise in various trauma-focused treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor with clients.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, providing calm and steady support to clients in crisis.
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and contemporary technology applications.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with more extensive backgrounds in trauma therapy and evidence-based treatment practices. Experience working within diverse client populations and familiarity with community resources for trauma support will be highly valued.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
