Job description

Join a team that's shaping the future of digital experiences at JPMorgan Chase. You'll drive innovation and deliver impactful web solutions that connect millions of users to our brand. Make your mark by transforming ideas into seamless digital journeys.

As a Senior Business Analyst on the Performance Marketing team, you will work in a dynamic, cross-functional team to drive digital transformation and deliver clear, measurable business impact. You will facilitate agile methodologies, integrate BDD practices to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, leverage tools like Figma and Jira, and partner with technical, business, and UX design teams to ensure our digital platforms meet evolving market needs. You will also use approved AI tools and prompt engineering to accelerate analysis, documentation, and communications while maintaining strong controls, traceability, and quality.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and UX partners to bridge business goals and technical delivery.

  • Lead agile ceremonies including pre-refinement sessions, sprint 0 planning, and (as needed) daily scrum calls.

  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria) with end-to-end traceability.

  • Apply BDD practices, writing clear "Given-When-Then" scenarios to validate and refine requirements with technical and non-technical partners.

  • Leverage Figma and Jira to facilitate design collaboration and maintain a well-groomed delivery backlog.

  • Use approved AI tools to accelerate BA workflows (meeting summaries, requirement drafts, backlog notes, data exploration hypotheses, and test case outlines) with human review and sign-off.

  • Design and iterate prompts for BA delivery (decomposition, edge-case discovery, test scenario generation, and release notes) using structured outputs (tables/JSON) and rubric-based evaluation.

  • Build and maintain reusable assets (story templates, UAT script skeletons, stakeholder update formats, and prompt libraries) for recurring BA workflows.

  • Partner with platform teams to gather requirements and author improvement suggestions; support developers on technical improvements, performance optimization, and refactoring as needed.

  • Evaluate change impacts through impact/gap analyses; identify risks, document mitigations, and present recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Track and analyze delivery KPIs (ticket fallout/quality, capacity such as points per developer per sprint, and first-time testing pass rate) and communicate insights to improve outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrate experience in business analysis and data analytics.

  • Use Jira, Figma, and data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel) proficiently.

  • Translate design concepts into clear, actionable technical specifications.

  • Write clear BDD scenarios ("Given-When-Then") and measurable acceptance criteria.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and support agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Apply approved AI tools to improve BA throughput and quality with clear examples of impact.

  • Apply strong prompt engineering skills (constraints, few-shot examples, structured outputs such as tables/JSON, rubric-based evaluation).

  • Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, bias, and compliance; ensure human review and sign-off.

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Hold agile certifications (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) or significant agile experience.

  • Use advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Bring familiarity with financial or digital marketing environments.

  • Work effectively with remote or globally dispersed teams.

  • Support technical refactoring and/or system modernization initiatives.

  • Stay current on emerging digital trends and technologies.

  • Develop assistants and/or agent-style workflow automations (multi-step tool-using workflows) under appropriate governance (nice-to-have).

Additional Information
  • Support both project-based and BAU operational requests.

  • Contribute to high-profile client initiatives.

  • Work in an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
