Junior Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising (TCIA) Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Junior Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising (TCIA) Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Intellectual Property practice in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–4 years of experience to advise leading companies on complex trademark, copyright, internet, and advertising matters within a collaborative and sophisticated legal environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with U.S. and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, and enforcement. Candidates with experience before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and handling Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters are strongly preferred. Experience with copyright counseling, registration, and prosecution is also highly valued.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience managing trademark portfolios and advising clients on brand protection strategies
  • Strong knowledge of trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement matters
  • Experience handling copyright counseling, filings, and related intellectual property issues
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with teams while also working independently
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Prior large law firm experience preferred
