• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis response strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management plans.
• Document patient interactions and treatment developments promptly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies, collaborating with clinical teams to refine and implement positive behavior support initiatives.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to the highest quality of care standards.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies, service systems, and community partners, enhancing the integration of services for our clients.
• Communicate effectively across all levels to meet contractual obligations and further the mission of the organization.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local and state agencies, federal organizations, and potential funding sources to enhance programming and community outreach efforts.
• Foster personal and professional development through participation in conferences, training, and community-focused meetings related to mental health expertise.
• Embbody and promote the values, mission, and philosophy of Empath Behavioral Services in all professional interactions.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support departmental needs.

The LPCC will work with a diverse range of clients, including those seeking help with mental health challenges, substance use recovery, and individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. • A Master's Degree in a related mental health field is required.
• Must hold an independent LPCC license in the state of California.
• Strong assessment and counseling skills, with the ability to implement evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration.

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar clinical environment.
• Proficiency in developing treatment plans and conducting comprehensive assessments.
• Experience with integrating services for individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Empath Behavioral Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually. Additionally, newly hired LPCCs will receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
