Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Technical Lead

The Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Technical Lead will be a client facing role, focused around maximizing client value and ensuring the right technical solutions are being implemented. This person will work in collaboration with the sales team to clearly understand client business and technology requirements, and then lead the delivery of these technical solutions. They work with the internal technology teams and consultants to craft client solutions and speed time-to-sale by architecting solutions that meet requirements, minimize deployment risk, and enhances client business value. This person will also handle escalated technical support issues.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • On-site technical architect and technical customer liaison for clients
  • Participate in or lead customer architecture efforts inclusive of customer meetings, white board briefing sessions, discovery sessions, and workshops
  • Lead the solutions design for Cloud Services and/or DevOps, in dynamic technical environments
  • Architecture oversight of billable engagements with clients
  • Lead multi-discipline teams and integration efforts
  • Provide technical architecture and design oversight for all proposed infrastructure changes
  • Provide technical leadership and design consistency guidance to internal resources
  • Oversee the maintenance of the infrastructure technical documentation
  • Coordinate consultants providing on-site and remote services to customer
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical vendor conversations and support tickets where required
  • Review requirement for dedicated on-site staff on a monthly basis

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering and architecture
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps engineering and architecture
  • Experience leading teams
  • Experience deploying production IT services
