Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex Human Resources department is actively seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join our Talent Development team.

The Learning Experience Designer creates engaging, innovative learning solutions that drive measurable business and performance outcomes. This role manages the end-to-end design process, from needs analysis and performance consulting to the development and evaluation of digital learning experiences. The position also develops visual and multimedia assets that enhance learner engagement and simplify complex concepts. Success requires expertise in instructional and visual design, strong stakeholder collaboration, project management skills, and the ability to deliver high-impact learning solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, a background in design and learning solution development, and strong technical expertise in visual/graphic design. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training, video and blended experiences using appropriate instructional strategies.
  • Define clear, measurable learning and performance objectives aligned to organizational goals.
  • Apply visual design principles, branding standards, and accessibility guidelines across learning products.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate content into effective learning experiences.
  • Communicate design rationale, progress, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Contribute to Talent Development standards, templates, and scalable design processes.
  • Use data and insights to recommend enhancements and optimize future learning solutions that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create compelling visuals, graphics, layouts, and multimedia assets that enhance learning clarity, engagement, and accessibility.
  • Use brand standards, visual hierarchy, and design best practices to ensure a cohesive learner experience across all deliverables.
  • Develop storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts to communicate design direction.
  • Build learning products using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or similar applications.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and insights to drive alignment and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences, including eLearning modules, microlearning, scenario-based learning, simulations, and blended learning using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, or similar platforms.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Education or a closely related field.
  • Experience designing and developing learning solutions
  • Proven experience and understanding of instructional design and principles of adult learning
  • Experience with graphic design technologies
  • Knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline
  • Basic Microsoft 365 skills required

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Skilled in creating visual elements to enhance learning and communication
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks/projects on time with guidance from leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work comfortably at various levels within the organization with guidance from leadership.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and standards within learning technology.
