Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to determine the mental health status and substance abuse needs of clients in a virtual setting.
• Developing tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring that they address individual client needs and goals.
• Delivering high-quality individual, group, and family therapy services via teletherapy, incorporating techniques that resonate with diverse client backgrounds.
• Maintaining precise clinical documentation in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to craft the highest standard of care and support for clients.
• Engaging in case reviews and treatment planning meetings to monitor client progress and adjust treatment modalities as necessary.
• Providing crisis intervention services to clients in need of immediate support, ensuring safety and appropriate care continuity.
• Staying updated on emerging trends, research, and best practices in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with come from varied backgrounds and experiences, often facing complex mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. By utilizing a client-centric approach, you will empower individuals to overcome barriers to mental wellness, helping them access the tools and support necessary for sustained recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of documented experience in providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services is essential.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective therapeutic relationships.
• Proven ability to collaborate cohesively with a treatment team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize patient needs and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a telehealth environment is strongly preferred, with a proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and approaches tailored to individual needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience in providing services to a diverse client base, understanding cultural differences and their impact on therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Blended Healing Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
