Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialized therapy for clients dealing with alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and conflict resolution among family members.
  • Coaching families through complex transitions such as separation, divorce, and the challenges of blended family dynamics.
  • Creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel valued and understood, promoting open dialogue and collaboration.
  • Documenting client progress and developing ongoing treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care that aligns with best practices in mental health.
  • Participating in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
