Position Overview

Murray Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative mental health team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote capacity while providing therapeutic support to our diverse patient population. The LPC will play a vital role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of our clients through evidence-based practices and collaborative treatment planning.

Work Environment

The position is full-time, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The LPC will enjoy a flexible remote work setting, which allows you to tailor your work environment to your needs, fully supported by our outpatient office's infrastructure. You will have access to secure electronic health record systems and collaboration tools that streamline communication with peers and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions and check-ins with clients to monitor their progress, discuss stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized, person-centered treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client treatment strategies and share insights, creating a collaborative approach to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work primarily with adults, children, and families, addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By leveraging evidence-based therapeutic techniques, you will support clients in their journey toward emotional stability and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status.
  • At least one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Proficient in using various computer software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and scheduling.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families in diverse settings.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and collaborative approaches to mental health services.
  • Experience working with a broad range of mental health conditions.
Compensation and Benefits

Murray Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
