Sacred Heart Mental and Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Tucson, Arizona. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sacred Heart, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
• Collaborating with clients to develop tailored and evidence-based treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while implementing evidence-based interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Providing psychoeducation and support to individuals and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Continuously monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies.
• Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve client care.
• Advocating for clients, promoting mental health awareness, and addressing stigma in the community.

Your work will primarily involve assisting clients struggling with mood disorders, which include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also support at-risk populations such as individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your ability to connect with and understand these diverse experiences will play a crucial role in fostering trust and encouraging positive therapeutic outcomes.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and secure trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, sensitivity, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' life circumstances and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for effective workload management.
