This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a strong commitment to client care. While your primary interactions will occur via virtual platforms, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of mental health professionals dedicated to integrated care. Regular meetings and collaborative sessions will help ensure continuity in client treatment and case management.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
• Work closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to aid in recovery.
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare specialists to deliver integrated and cohesive patient care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, continuously improving therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster a culture of collaboration and education.
• Act as an advocate for clients, particularly in addressing mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Your role will focus on serving clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, which may include depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will engage with diverse populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, providing tailored therapy that respects their unique experiences and backgrounds. Your efforts will help guide them through difficult times, promoting recovery and well-being in a secure and supportive environment.

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of a secure and trusted therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.

• Experience working with diverse populations and individuals facing varying levels of mental health challenges.
• Background in utilizing evidence-based therapies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Prior experience in community mental health settings is advantageous.

• Salary ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with skills, experience, and education.
