Position Summary

The Account Manager, Nuclear Medicine drives commercial growth, clinical adoption, and customer success for Eckert & Ziegler\'s radiopharmaceutical production portfolioโ€”including GalliaPharmยฎ, IGG100ยฎ, Modular-Labยฎ, KitLabยฎ, and HPLC systemsโ€”across North America. Combining consultative sales, account management, and clinical education, the role partners with hospitals, radiopharmacies, academic medical centers, and research institutions to advance nuclear medicine and molecular imaging programs, supporting our mission of contributing to saving lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to meet or exceed annual sales and revenue objectives.
  • Drive sales of GalliaPharmยฎ, IGG100ยฎ, Modular-Labยฎ, KitLabยฎ, HPLC systems, and future radiopharmaceutical production solutions across North America.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business while growing and retaining existing accounts and expanding product utilization.
  • Manage the full sales cycleโ€”prospecting, proposals, negotiation, and contract executionโ€”and maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast.
  • Deliver clinical education, workflow training, and onboarding to ensure successful implementation and adoption of products and equipment.
  • Serve as field-based subject matter expert for radiopharmaceutical production workflows, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, regulatory, quality, service, and product management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent Eckert & Ziegler at trade shows, scientific meetings, and industry conferences, and relay market and competitive intelligence to internal teams.
  • Lead strategic account planning to drive territory growth and long-term customer retention.
  • Perform additional projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, nuclear medicine technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceuticals, molecular imaging, or related healthcare sales and clinical applications.
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles combining technical expertise with commercial responsibility, including consultative selling, strategic account management, and executive relationship building.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific and technical concepts to clinical, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to work independently across a large geographic territory, with proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and virtual presentation tools.
  • Valid driver\'s license and ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PET, SPECT, theranostics, radiopharmacy operations, and cyclotron or generator-based production, including knowledge of synthesis equipment, HPLC systems, hot cells, isolators, and GMP environments.
  • Existing relationships within the nuclear medicine and molecular imaging community; CNMT certification, an advanced scientific degree, or an MBA.

Work Schedule & Conditions
  • Full-time, field-based remote role covering North America, with domestic travel up to 50% including overnight stays and occasional evening or weekend work.
  • Access to controlled radiation areas at customer and production sites, which may require enrollment in a radiation-monitoring (dosimetry) program and use of personal protective equipment in accordance with site and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance with customer, facility, and regulatory site-access requirements, including radiation-safety training, background checks, and immunization or health-screening prerequisites where applicable.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 25 pounds and to stand, walk, and work within laboratory, cleanroom, or production settings for extended periods.
  • Adherence to all applicable radiation-safety, GMP, quality, and environmental health and safety (EHS) protocols while on-site.
Compensation & Benefits

Eckert & Ziegler offers a competitive, performance-driven compensation package:

  • Base Salary: $120,000 โ€“ $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, territory, and geographic location.
  • Annual Bonus: Target of 20% of base salary, based on company and individual performance.
  • Sales Commission: Uncapped sales incentive.
  • Benefits: Generous benefits package including fully paid individual health insurance, 401(k) with company match, comprehensive medical (fully paid for employee), dental, and vision coverage, and paid time off.
