Description
Position Summary
This position is field based, and the incumbent will travel (overnight, air, etc.) approximately 80% of the time within the territory or other territories assigned.
An Associate Reprieve Consultant (ARC) plays a crucial role in supporting Reprieve Consultants (RC) in the promoting and selling of company products to healthcare professionals and institutions. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications associated with this role:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Identify Potential Clients: Organize sales visits to hospitals, clinics, and doctors' offices.
  • Promote Products: Present and demonstrate medical products to healthcare professionals.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Support Territory Sales Targets: Aim to meet or exceed sales targets for assigned territory.
  • Provide After-Sales Service: Respond to product queries and complaints.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain detailed knowledge about the healthcare industry, competitors, and products.
  • Attend Events: Participate in training, conferences, and meetings to promote products.

Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in a sales capacity.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively convey information to healthcare professionals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices.
  • Goal-Oriented: Strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and work in tandem with assigned RC.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with patients and customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for addressing client concerns and finding effective solutions.
  • Resilience: Persistence and determination to overcome challenges and setbacks.
  • Time Management: Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to maximize productivity.

Essential Functions -Physical Position Requirements; Machines and/or Equipment Used:
  • Must be PC literate; MSOffice skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.)
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk
  • Regularly uses hands to operate computer and other office equipment
  • Close vision required for computer usage
  • Ability to work on a computer up to 8 hours a day.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 pounds
