We are actively hiring for a Product Strategy Advisor, Personal Lines - Remote

Your Role: This role serves as a strategic business consultant and market expert, providing insights on regulatory changes, emerging trends, and business impacts. The position leads cross-functional initiatives, supports product implementation, advises senior leadership, and delivers data-driven recommendations to influence strategy and operations.

Your Work:
  • Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.

  • Uses stellar research and analytical skills to present to various management levels and advises others on approaches to market changes and responses to legislative changes.

  • Proactively identifies emerging trends and issues in assigned territory, analyzing available data (primarily qualitative) and presenting findings to leadership.

  • Performs sophisticated analysis of assigned function or business area and translates findings into appropriate applications, such as process changes, advising strategy, etc.

  • Provides interpretation and insight on proposals. Evaluates findings and guides outcome (cause-effect-effort to implement). Role is to be business consultant to internal partners.

  • Works in highly consultative role

  • Presents to senior management (regularly up to VP level).

  • Supports new product implementation as the SME in the local market.

  • Leads and participates in sophisticated, cross-functional projects (e.g., system defects, discounts, forms, contracting changes)

  • Provides mentorship and training to less seasoned team members.

  • Crafts sophisticated policy language with minimal assistance from Legal

  • Maintains rule manual and eligibility guidelines

  • May prepare filing objection responses and manages market conduct exams.

  • Effectively collaborates with colleagues across the organization at all levels

Required Experience, Education and Skills

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience

  • 6+ years of related work experience with typically 5+ years being in the personal lines P&C industry

  • Prior experience in state product management roles (ex: analyst, specialist, market generation consultant) or other related functions (ex: pricing, product strategy and development, data science)

  • Deep understanding of state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.

  • Excellent understanding of insurance products.

  • Outstanding analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of partners.

  • Ability to lead through influence and drive work forward

  • Ability to conduct meetings and deliver formal presentations

  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Expert knowledge of insurance concepts

The national average salary range for this position is $122,850.00-$136,500.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $122,850.00-$164,000.00.
