• Provide therapy to a diverse range of clients using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in individual, group, and family settings.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to agency standards and local regulations.
• Engage in weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director or lead therapist to foster professional development and ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate comprehensive treatment plans and adjust them as necessary based on client progress and feedback.
• Participate in case management and follow-up care coordination to ensure continuity of care for clients.

In this role, you will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, addressing an array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. You will have the chance to expand your expertise by participating in cross-training opportunities with adult clients, enhancing your versatility as a mental health provider.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in counseling, particularly in outpatient settings, is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver optimal client care.

• Experience in family therapy and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Specialization in substance misuse treatment or evidence-based interventions for anxiety and depression would be an asset.

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
