This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that accommodates the needs of both counselors and patients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately determine patients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services tailored to meet the unique concerns presented by patients.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops that focus on skill-building, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, and support staff, to ensure holistic patient care and effective treatment integration.
• Engage in community outreach and preventive initiatives, enhancing mental health awareness and promoting wellness within the patient population.
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation and patient records, adhering to stringent ethical and legal standards.

Our patient population encompasses a wide range of individuals, from those facing acute mental health crises to those requiring ongoing therapeutic support for chronic conditions. Counselors will work with patients from diverse backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. • Active state license: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven ability to understand the mental health issues commonly encountered in a hospital setting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances with patients and collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy methodologies appropriate for a counseling center.
• Experience in managing diverse caseloads and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment or demonstrating proficiency in various telecommunication tools.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices.
• Previous involvement in community mental health outreach or wellness promotion initiatives.

• An attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
