Silverwood Behavioral Health Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team full-time. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, including biopsychosocial factors that impact their emotional well-being.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that address each client's unique goals, challenges, and strengths.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Monitor clients’ progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients during acute episodes, facilitating timely solutions and referrals to higher levels of care when needed.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential patient records in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure that all aspects of a client’s health are addressed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions to stay current with the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.
• Adhere strictly to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by relevant licensing boards and organizations.

In this role, you will provide therapeutic support to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients navigate life's complexities and fostering resilience and growth.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) is essential.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with various client demographics.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, family members, and colleagues.
• Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to prioritizing client well-being and confidentiality.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ethical guidelines and laws related to mental health practice.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required. Experience in community health settings is preferred.
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms as these will be a crucial part of your daily responsibilities.
