MultiCare Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team in Pullman, Washington. • Conduct thorough psychiatric and psychosocial assessments, including in-depth mental status examinations to understand each patient’s unique circumstances.
• Collaboratively develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and patient goals.
• Provide various therapeutic modalities, including individual, couples, family, psychoeducation, and group therapy sessions to address specific mental health issues.
• Implement supportive therapy techniques, such as problem-solving, role-playing, and social skill development, to enhance patients’ coping mechanisms and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions within our electronic health record system, adhering to organizational policies and facilitating seamless communication with the clinical team.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, refining interventions as necessary to ensure sustained progress toward recovery for each patient.

In your role, you will work with a diverse patient population that may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, substance use, and co-occurring conditions. By providing culturally sensitive care and tailored therapeutic approaches, you'll help patients navigate their challenges and foster personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Active license in the State of Washington as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 3 years of direct patient care experience in a mental health setting.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, detailed clinical notes and intake reports.
• Excellent time management skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively.

• Experience in telehealth service delivery and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and knowledge of best practices in treatment approaches.
• Specialties in areas such as trauma therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or family systems therapy.
