This position is entirely remote, allowing mental health counselors the flexibility to work from their preferred location. You will engage with patients via a secure video platform, facilitating therapeutic interactions that prioritize comfort and confidentiality. • Conduct thorough teletherapy sessions with patients, using video technology to assess mental health needs in real time.
• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations, compiling detailed patient medical histories and mental status examinations to form a complete clinical picture.
• Develop individualized behavioral health treatment plans in collaboration with patients, evaluating and revising these plans as necessary based on ongoing assessment results.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic support and interventions tailored to each patient's situation, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
• Stay updated on continuing education opportunities, expanding knowledge of the latest evidence-based psychosocial interventions to improve patient care.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a range of mental health challenges affecting individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. You will engage with patients who may experience anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or trauma, focusing on holistic care that considers their unique circumstances and treatment goals.

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Art Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using clinical software to maintain patient information.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable, facilitating communication with a broader range of patients.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and workflows is preferred to ensure a smooth transition to remote care delivery.
