As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Gotham Enterprises, you will undertake a variety of meaningful responsibilities that contribute to superior patient outcomes. Your key tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments upon patient admission and developing comprehensive treatment plans that reflect best practices and solution-oriented approaches.
• Administering evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customizing sessions to meet the specific preferences and needs of your clients.
• Maintaining detailed and precise clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations, ensuring accountability and compliance in all aspects of patient care.
• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate optimal care strategies.
• Participating in regular peer review sessions and case consultations to continuously improve care quality and therapeutic outcomes.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment possibilities, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
• Staying abreast of current research and developments in mental health, integrating your findings into practice for enriched patient services.

Your work will predominantly involve supporting patients with terminal illnesses, offering essential psychological support and therapeutic solutions. You will engage with both patients and families, recognizing the complexity of emotions and decision-making processes surrounding end-of-life care. By understanding their experiences and providing compassionate guidance, you will play a pivotal role in their journey.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida is essential.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy in a healthcare setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of solution-focused therapeutic interventions and techniques, demonstrating an ability to apply these effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling positive relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in telehealth practices and familiarity with relevant electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial.
