This position will be fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while connecting with patients through telehealth platforms. • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ unique trauma histories and outline tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions focused on trauma recovery and resilience building, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to establish a holistic approach to care that integrates various treatment modalities.
• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, and contribute to team discussions and case reviews.

The individuals you will work with are primarily trauma survivors facing a variety of challenges related to past experiences. Clients may present with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders and require a sensitive, informed approach to treatment that acknowledges their unique experiences and needs. You will provide a safe space for clients to explore their feelings, understand their responses, and develop strategies for sustainable healing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada is mandatory.
• A strong theoretical foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed interventions.
• Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring effective patient care and support.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating an ability to collaborate effectively with various healthcare professionals.
