As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans utilizing established best practices.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based treatment modalities to foster client progress.
• Documenting clinical interactions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and respect for patient privacy.
• Engaging in collaborative treatment planning with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to optimize patient care and address multifaceted mental health issues.
• Participating in case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing clinical skills and improving patient outcomes.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment processes, and available community resources.
• Staying informed of the latest research and developments in the mental health field to ensure the incorporation of contemporary practices into your treatment approach.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, focusing primarily on psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with peers.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a cohesive team.

• Experience with teletherapy and the tools involved, such as telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and clinical documentation software.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as Motivational Interviewing or trauma-informed care.
• Experience working with underrepresented populations or in community mental health settings.
