You will engage with clients through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring both safety and confidentiality. Our organization provides cutting-edge cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and facilitate compliance with insurance and reimbursement requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid.

• Engage with clients using a telehealth platform, focusing on delivering individualized counseling services that address their mental health needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions, guiding clients through identifying challenges and fostering solutions to promote well-being.
• Implement specialized treatment programs aimed at managing symptoms related to mental health conditions, trauma, or dual diagnosis.
• Maintain thorough, organized, and compliant documentation within the EHR system, ensuring you meet necessary standards for insurance providers.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and community resources to optimize client care and support.

As a counselor at Polara Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in helping clients recognize their strengths and navigate roadblocks on their path to recovery, fostering resilience and promoting self-empowerment.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Tennessee is essential.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling.
• A reliable computer with internet access and a webcam for conducting sessions is mandatory.
• Proven ability to work independently while delivering consistent results and maintaining a self-motivated work ethic.
• Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.

• Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of cultural competencies are strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based approaches.
• Previous experience in a remote counseling role would be an asset.
