This is a fully remote position, providing flexibility while maintaining accountable structures for client care. Although you will primarily work from home, you will have access to the support of an outpatient office environment through virtual platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments by meeting with clients to understand their mental health status and history.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health needs and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, using evidence-based methodologies for both individual and group therapy settings.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to document client progress and treatment interventions accurately.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to coordinate holistic care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health best practices, treatment modalities, and state regulations.
• Offer crisis intervention support and stay calm and effective under pressure during challenging client interactions.

You will engage with a diverse clientele experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Our ideal candidates are culturally competent, able to connect with individuals from various backgrounds, and committed to providing inclusive care that respects each client’s unique needs and perspective.

• Possession of a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders, evidenced by a strong understanding of psychological principles and treatment methods.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive techniques.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capability to maintain composure during emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and other relevant technology, ensuring a seamless workflow within the practice.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards of practice, including professionalism, confidentiality, and boundary management.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Demonstrated experience working with underrepresented populations and a commitment to cultural sensitivity in therapeutic practice.
• Engagement in continuous professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Active participation in supervision or peer consultation groups that promote professional growth.
