Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through secure video conferencing to address their mental health needs and enhance their overall well-being.
  • Encourage open discussions with clients regarding their emotions and life experiences, facilitating a deeper understanding of their personal challenges and relationships.
  • Advocate for clients by assisting them in defining personal and therapeutic goals that promote progress and motivate engagement in the counseling process.
  • Utilize your clinical expertise to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, and create and implement tailored treatment plans based on a solution-focused approach.
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate and thorough records as required by regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a client base of stable adults presenting with low acuity mental health concerns. Each client is prescreened, ensuring that you will be interacting with individuals who are ready and able to engage meaningfully in the therapeutic process. We also match you with clients that align with your areas of specialty and demographic preferences, allowing for a fulfilling therapeutic experience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • You must hold a full, unrestricted state license to practice independently as a mental health professional, including but not limited to:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and telehealth platforms to manage client sessions and communications effectively.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess experience in a clinical setting, having developed a comprehensive understanding of mental health treatment modalities. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial, alongside a track record of successfully facilitating client engagements via telehealth platforms.
