JOB SUMMARY:
What does a successful Marketing Client Consultant do at Fiserv?
Fiserv is a global fintech and payments company with solutions for banking, global commerce, merchant acquiring, bill and payments, and point-of-sale.
As a successful Marketing Client Consultant, you will put your strategic marketing and client consulting expertise to work helping drive adoption and use of our Digital Banking Solutions at financial institutions across the United States. In addition to supporting assigned client portfolios, you will contribute to strategic team initiatives and special projects that enhance client experiences, expand marketing capabilities, and support broader business objectives. This role serves as a trusted advisor and strategist, contributing market intelligence with consumer and small business marketing expertise, development, and implementation of marketing plans to support new and continuous consumer engagement at the bank or credit union with money movement products such as Bill Pay, Person-to-Person Payments, Mobile Banking, Account-to-Account Transfers and Card Service
Travel required: Less than 25%
Location: Client facing role. It's a remote position, but should be near key office locations due to occasional in-person meetings. Those locations include Alpharetta, GA and Columbus, OH
What you will do:
You will work with financial institutions' marketing and product organizations to share insights, develop plans and implement programs to drive consumer and small business adoption and engagement. Internally within Fiserv, you work across adoption marketing and sales with marketing analysts, campaign developers and client engagement teams to create, launch and track client marketing programs.
  • Share consumer and small business marketing and product insights with assigned clients to build collaborative relationships.
  • Develop marketing plans to drive adoption and engagement of the digital banking solutions.
  • Work across the financial institutions' marketing teams and the Fiserv organization to launch marketing programs and track the results to drive revenue.
  • Support strategic team and business initiatives beyond assigned client accounts, leading or contributing to special projects that enhance client value, operational effectiveness, marketing capabilities, and industry visibility. Projects may vary based on business needs and individual strengths and can include program management, thought leadership initiatives, process improvements, client education programs, industry recognition efforts, and other cross-functional assignments.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
  • 7+ years of direct or related experience in complex marketing of consumer and small business users with preferred experience in online and mobile financial services and technology products.
  • Experience in a client-facing role with demonstrated strength in consultative client management illustrating and selling marketing ideas, programs and results.
  • Ability to develop marketing programs, including social, paid social and email campaigns, banners, and associate engagement that encompass customer experience across multiple channels.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work across multiple client engagement teams.
  • Track record of success leading cross-functional teams and ability to develop collaborative internal and external relationships.
  • Strong analytical marketing with focus on program results, including ability to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Management of marketing budgets.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects with strong prioritization skills, and ability to multi-task; often managing 10+ open projects and ability to plan out time between various activities to manage highest priority tasks. Execute more than one activity or task simultaneously and deliver on performance targets/expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional projects and balance ongoing client responsibilities with evolving business priorities.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and best practices.

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $85,000 to $105,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
