Job description

De Novo, a boutique staffing and recruitment agency is currently seeking a CA Barred civil litigation attorney with experience in personal injury litigation to work directly with one of our clients.  This is a contract position, fully remote starting with 30-35 hours per month but has the potential to increase to 80 hours per month with the opportunity for coverage work if so desired.  The position will involve handling various types of drafting projects including demurrer motions.  Must have a somewhat deep knowledge bank of the California Code of Civil Procedure (CCP) and the California Rules of Court (CRC), given that 90% of the firm's drafting projects will be ruleset in the both of the abovementioned.  We are looking for a motivated, committed, dependable self-starter who takes pride in producing an exceptional work product in a timely manner and who can be flexible to the needs of the client.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience preferably in personal injury
  • Must have a California bar license in good standing
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent research skills
  • Must be somewhat tech savvy and have a reliable computer and internet connection
