The detox center setting demands a balanced approach to care, requiring you to support clients in crisis while collaboratively working with other mental health professionals in our organization.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological and social needs, developing individualized treatment plans that ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address clients' varied psychological challenges.
• Actively monitor and evaluate client progress toward treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to strategies to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers within our multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, employing de-escalation techniques to assist clients during high-stress situations.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, services provided, and treatment plans in accordance with state guidelines and organizational policies.
• Stay informed on the latest research and therapeutic methods within mental health and substance use treatment to provide the best outcomes for clients.

This role focuses primarily on clients dealing with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and the emotional strains related to life transitions such as recovery from addiction, trauma, and family dynamics. You will work closely with diverse populations, including individuals and families affected by addiction, offering a safe space for healing and support.

• A Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in mental health treatment modalities.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a clinical social worker in Texas.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective therapeutic alliances with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology to conduct sessions and maintain client relationships in a remote environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and compassion.

• Experience working in a detox or substance abuse treatment environment is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with evidence-based treatment programs.
• Demonstrable experience in crisis intervention and counseling techniques.
• Previous roles that involved teamwork in multidisciplinary settings will be advantageous.

The annual salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and credentials. Our benefits package includes:
