Job Description

The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for defining the product vision and maximizing the value delivered by the development team. The PO collaborates closely with both internal and external stakeholders across R&D including DevOps and back-end teams, to define, prioritize, and refine product requirements based on business objectives and user needs. This role serves as a critical link between business and technical teams, ensuring that deliverables are aligned with the company’s overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Backlog Management

  • Maintain a clear, structured, and well-prioritized product backlog
  • Prioritize features based on business value and strategic objectives
  • Adjust priorities according to user feedback and organizational needs

Requirements Definition & Co‑Creation

  • Write epics and user stories in collaboration with the team
  • Refine requirements with analysts and technical teams (details, dependencies, acceptance criteria)

Validation & Discovery

  • Test hypotheses through experiments or prototypes
  • Organize reviews to adjust solutions based on feedback

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Gather and understand the needs of business teams, users, and customers
  • Maintain ongoing communication and ensure alignment on upcoming activities
  • Define and drive go‑to‑market strategies
  • Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams

Planning & Delivery

  • Sequence and maintain the product roadmap
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews)
  • Define acceptance criteria for features
  • Oversee development progress and ensure the quality of deliverables (drive time‑to‑market)

Solution Validation & Continuous Improvement

  • Validate features with QA and development teams
  • Collect and prioritize user feedback
  • Ensure proper delivery documentation
  • Establish and monitor product performance metrics

Vision & Strategic Alignment

  • Ensure product decisions align with the organization’s overall strategy
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner role;
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (JIRA, Confluence);
  • Strong understanding of technological challenges related to back-end and DevOps environments;
  • Good understanding of technical constraints and development processes;
  • Proven ability to structure and organize team efforts around clear, measurable objectives;
  • Ability to adapt to uncertainty and shifting priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong ability to analyze and document functional requirements and solutions in a multidisciplinary environment;
  • Collaborative leadership and ability to mobilize teams;
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy;
  • Ability to balance short‑term priorities with long‑term visio;
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
