About the Role

The Cloud Solutions Architect will provide technical leadership for the modernization, migration, integration, and ongoing support of a Federal enterprise application portfolio. The Architect will serve as the technical lead responsible for planning and executing cloud migration initiatives, modernizing legacy applications, designing Azure-based enterprise architectures, and guiding engineering teams supporting mission-critical Microsoft technologies.

This position requires regular on-site support and close collaboration with Government leadership, project managers, cybersecurity personnel, and application development teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of enterprise IT architecture, systems engineering, or application modernization experience.
    • Formal Education (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, PhD) may be used to offset experience requirement
  • 7+ years architecting Microsoft Azure enterprise solutions.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise application modernization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading AWS-to-Azure cloud migrations.
  • Experience designing solutions within Microsoft Azure Government (Azure GCC or GCC High preferred).
  • Experience leading Agile software development teams supporting enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government environments.

Responsibilities

The Architect shall:

  • Lead the technical planning and execution of enterprise cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Serve as the technical lead for AWS-to-Azure migration activities.
