Job Overview:

Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Healthcare projects.
  • Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Payer, Provider, Claims, Enrollment, or Care Management processes.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are clearly understood by development teams.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • Analyze healthcare business processes across Payer, Provider, Claims, Enrollment, Care Management, and Clinical domains.
  • Ensure solutions align with healthcare operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare SMEs to define business rules and workflows.
  • Support compliance initiatives and healthcare data management activities.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams to manage and refine the product backlog.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Support prioritization and requirement clarification throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Act as the liaison between business users, technical teams, and project leadership.
  • Facilitate requirement review sessions and obtain stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and business impacts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support test planning, test case reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate implemented solutions against business requirements.
  • Assist with production releases and post-implementation support.
  • Track defects and coordinate resolutions with development teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Healthcare data platforms, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards including HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, and EDI transactions.
  • Exposure to digital healthcare transformation programs.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, or Scrum-related certifications.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale healthcare environments.
