Job Description
Under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor or Director, the Licensed Surveyor performs professional surveying and mapping duties supporting a variety of survey projects, with an emphasis on Oil & Gas developments and Government related projects. This position is responsible for managing project flow, researching records, processing data, and creating details, plats, and reports for both internal teams and customers. The Licensed Surveyor will be a champion and leader of our company's core values, while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction.
This position may be based at any of Fenstermaker's physical office locations or may be performed remotely.
Some responsibilities include:
  • Manage and oversee survey projects supporting Oil and Gas and/or Government clients.
  • Research deeds, plats, easements, rights-of-way, title documents, and other legal records.
  • Prepare and certify plats, maps, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables.
  • Support permitting efforts and coordinate with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Process and review survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying software.
  • Perform quality control reviews, ensuring compliance with state surveying regulations and professional standards.

Job Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field - preferred
  • Professional licensure in the states of LA and/or TX
  • Prior experience supporting Oil and Gas and/or Government related surveying projects
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
