The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, start up and installation supervision of equipment for our Municipal Water and Wastewater business. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
What you will do as a Field Service engineer:
  • Verify correct installation and configuration, of equipment at various field locations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Document all service and repair activities.
  • Provide technical training and support to customers.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage service schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Perform start up of newly installed equipment and systems. Including PLC programming adjustments and system dial in to meet contractual performance requirements.

What Core Competencies You Possess:
  • Technical Knowledge: base knowledge of electrical principles and automation systems.

Who you are and what you bring to the table:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role or technical field, including experience with equipment installation and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in the use of work management software and reporting (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Familiarity with field service management tools and systems and a basic understanding of the company's products or services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to travel throughout the US frequently
  • Valid driver's license
