Overview of Job Function:

Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining, and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement, automated testing of desktop applications, web applications and backend services.
  • Maintain technology expertise, research, and apply state-of-the-art automated software testing tools and practices.
  • Develop and execute software test plans and procedures.
  • Design, develop and administer usability testing scenarios
  • Conduct testing and present detailed test/defect analysis to the development team.
  • Prepare reports on overall test progress and regression.
  • Participate in team reviews of product and test design.
  • Interact with customers as required to refine usability requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years' experience in software testing, with at least 1+ years of experience in automation testing, performance tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience with Page Object Model design patterns in Selenium.
  • Experience writing behavior driven Gherkin tests.
  • Experience writing code in C#, Java, or similar language.
  • Demonstrated skill in designing test suites and test techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of usability issues.
  • Experience detailing and communicating directly with software development teams.
  • This is a remote US-MD role but is required to be located near the Verint Columbia, MD office to work in the labs on occasion (up to once a month), attend business and collaboration meetings.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience Testing APIs.
  • Experience using GitHub or similar source control platforms.
  • Experience writing SQL Queries.
  • Experience using various AI Tools/Agents.
