Overview
We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Automation & Hybrid Remediation Architect to drive the modernization of enterprise patch management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure automation capabilities. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for designing scalable automation solutions, improving remediation efficiency, and enhancing operational reliability across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
Description:
  • Lead the architecture, modernization, and optimization of enterprise patch management and remediation platforms.
  • Design and implement automation and orchestration solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
  • Develop scalable workflows for patch deployment, vulnerability remediation, approval processes, and operational automation.
  • Design and maintain ServiceNow integrations for automated change management and workflow orchestration.
  • Oversee integration of vulnerability management and security platforms across hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Establish governance standards, maintenance strategies, operational procedures, and remediation best practices.
  • Drive modernization efforts to reduce manual processes and replace legacy automation solutions.
  • Partner with Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, and Application teams to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Support compliance, audit readiness, reporting requirements, and security initiatives.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of Windows infrastructure and enterprise patch management experience.
  • 3+ years of infrastructure automation and orchestration experience.
  • Deep expertise with MECM/SCCM administration and enterprise patching solutions.
  • Strong experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and automation architecture.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation development skills.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow APIs, workflows, and ITSM processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, Azure Arc, Defender for Cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs and security compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of deployment rings, phased deployments, operational governance, and enterprise change management.
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certifications (Windows Server, Azure Administrator), Red Hat Ansible Automation Certifications, ITIL Foundation Certification and Security and Cloud Certifications (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree
