Job description

Help Shape the Future of Behavioral Addiction Treatment

As online gambling and gaming continue to expand, so does the need for specialized behavioral health care. At Kindbridge Behavioral Health, a Joint Commission-accredited telehealth organization, we help individuals and families affected by gambling, gaming, and related challenges while providing therapists the opportunity to build expertise in this growing field.

We're seeking part-time Therapists licensed to practice in New York (residency in NY not required) who are interested in expanding their clinical skill set, working with a unique client population, and making a meaningful impact through flexible, remote work.

Why Choose Kindbridge:

Develop a Specialized Clinical Skill Set — Gain hands-on experience treating gambling, gaming, and other behavioral addictions while building expertise in one of behavioral health's fastest-growing specialties

Receive Clinical Training & Mentorship — We provide ongoing education, clinical consultation, and support pursuing the International Certified Gambling Counselor (ICGC-I) credential through mentorship from a nationally recognized, Ph.D.-trained, ICGC-II-certified gambling addiction clinician

Join an Accredited Behavioral Health Organization — Work with a Joint Commission-accredited organization committed to the highest standards of quality, safety and patient care

Focus on Clinical Work — We handle credentialing, billing, insurance claims, collections, and other administrative tasks so you can focus on providing care

Build a Flexible Remote Practice — Set your own schedule and maintain a caseload that aligns with your availability and professional goals

Work Alongside Experts in the Field — Join a collaborative team of clinicians who are passionate about advancing care for individuals and families seeking support for compulsive or overuse behaviors, or emotional dysregulation struggles through compassionate, evidence-based treatment

What We Provide:
  • ICGC-I certification support
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Clinical consultation and peer support
  • Insurance credentialing support
  • Assistance with and funding for additional state licensure
  • Administrative and billing support
  • Flexible scheduling and remote work
  • W-2 employment
  • 401(k) with employer match
Who We're Looking For:
  • Active clinical licensure in the state of New York: LPC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent license
  • Interest in gambling disorder, gaming disorder, and other behavioral challenges
  • Desire to pursue ICGC-I certification with company support
  • Commitment to evidence-based, client-centered care
  • Interest in collaborating with a team that's driving innovation in teletherapy
  • Spanish fluency is a plus

Join Our Mission:

At Kindbridge, you'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise into a highly specialized area of behavioral health while helping individuals and families affected by gambling, gaming, and related behavioral challenges.

If you're looking for meaningful clinical work, ongoing mentorship, and the opportunity to become a leader in an emerging field, we'd love to hear from you.
