This role is designed to be fully remote, offering flexibility while still providing opportunities for collaborative teamwork. Our community health clinic model allows therapists to interact and share insights with fellow professionals dedicated to trauma-informed care. • Conduct trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed histories of patients’ experiences and challenges related to trauma.
• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans designed to facilitate trauma recovery and enhance resilience.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma processing, skill-building, and mental health education.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and compassionate under pressure.
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, coping strategies, and therapeutic resources available to them.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute in team meetings to enhance the quality of trauma-informed care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the use of best practices in your therapeutic approach.

Our primary focus is on individuals who are survivors of various forms of trauma, including but not limited to violence, abuse, and bereavement. We tailor our therapeutic services to meet the specific needs of each client, fostering a holistic approach to their recovery journey.

• An accredited Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting, preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed treatment methods.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental approach with clients.

• Experience with diverse therapeutic techniques, particularly in working with trauma survivors.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems and relevant technologies for documentation and client management.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques based on individual client needs and environmental factors.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
