As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Compassionate Care Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms, ensuring ethical and compassionate care.
• Utilizing various evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to address clients' specific mental health needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring therapeutic approaches to facilitate their personal growth and mental wellness.
• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting interventions as necessary while helping them cultivate effective coping strategies.
• Providing clients with insights into their experiences and relationships, fostering a deeper understanding and promoting emotional resilience.

Your primary focus will be working with stable, low-acuity adults who present with a broad spectrum of mental health needs. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a relevant counseling discipline, including areas such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current and valid state-issued mental health counseling license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice independently, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Proficiency in technology, with strong computer skills and access to a reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities for conducting video sessions.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application:

• Two years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health care.

Our compensation package is competitive, with salaries ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on your working hours and experience. Additional benefits include:
