As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inner Harmony Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific mental health needs of your clients.
• Providing ethical, empathetic counseling sessions via secure video conferencing to address clients' psychological and emotional challenges.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to empower clients in overcoming their hurdles and improving their quality of life.
• Monitoring the progress of clients throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Helping clients gain insights into their feelings, experiences, and relationships while implementing healthy coping strategies.

Your role will primarily involve working with stable, low-acuity adults who present with a range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, and stress management. The objective is to assist these individuals in developing the skills necessary to enhance their overall wellness and resilience, thereby improving their daily functioning and quality of life.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) that allows for independent practice; provisional licenses or those with disciplinary actions will not be accepted.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Proficiency in computer use, including familiarity with video conferencing tools for counseling sessions.
• A reliable internet connection and equipment capable of supporting video and audio formats.

While a minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, additional experience in teletherapy or working with diverse populations may enhance your application. A prior history of working in outpatient settings, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) can also be advantageous.
