Summary:

The Trust Advisor II, as part of Huntington’s Private Client Group (PCG) assesses and profiles the high net worth customer's total financial needs and introduces product specialists to obtain cross-sell opportunities.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the complete administration of assigned Wealth & Investment accounts of moderate to high complexity including trusts, estates and agencies. 
  • Provides operating instructions and procedures to Trust support staff to ensure appropriate handling of account relationships.
  • Coordinates administrative functions with internal and external parties with a defined interest in any aspect of the trust relationship. 
  • Responsible for developing new relationships, retaining existing customers, and cross-selling to gather additional assets to expand customer relationships. 
  • Works to maintain strong relationships with centers of influence including attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, and financial planners. 
  • May be appointed to serve on internal trust committees as assigned by management. 
  • Key OCR (Optimal Customer Relationship) position: builds strong relationships across all business segments.​
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five or more years of moderate to complex Trust Administration experience

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Juris Doctor, Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CFTA) designation
  • Demonstrated success working with high net worth banking customers
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Financial advisory/sales experience in banking, investment, or insurance products and services
  • Knowledge of Private Financial Group products is beneficial.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor
  • PC and internet proficiency
  • Ability to multi-task
