Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that accommodates the needs of both counselors and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately determine patients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services tailored to meet the unique concerns presented by patients.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops that focus on skill-building, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, and support staff, to ensure holistic patient care and effective treatment integration.
• Engage in community outreach and preventive initiatives, enhancing mental health awareness and promoting wellness within the patient population.
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation and patient records, adhering to stringent ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Counselors will work with patients from diverse backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications

• Active state license: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven ability to understand the mental health issues commonly encountered in a hospital setting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances with patients and collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy methodologies appropriate for a counseling center.
• Experience in managing diverse caseloads and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth environment or demonstrating proficiency in various telecommunication tools.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices.
• Previous involvement in community mental health outreach or wellness promotion initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

• An attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
