Position Summary

Energizer is seeking a high-impact National Account Manager to lead the Amazon Automotive Care business, with full ownership of strategy, P&L performance, and end-to-end execution across the Amazon ecosystem.

Reporting to the Sr. National Account Manager, Amazon North America, this role is accountable for delivering sustainable, profitable growth - optimizing trade investment, accelerating topline performance, strengthening Amazon partnership outcomes, and ensuring operational excellence across the Automotive Care business. Day-to-day, the National Account Manager owns Customer and Channel Management with a focus on elevating the category to its full potential.

This role requires a scrappy, adaptable self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, can pivot quickly when priorities shift, and proactively identifies and solves problems before they escalate. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with senior leadership, influences cross-functionally, and drives alignment across diverse stakeholders with competing priorities.

Job Description

Universal Accountabilities

Own Amazon Business Performance (End-to-End)

  • Own total category P&L, including revenue, gross margin, trade investment, and profitability
  • Deliver against key KPIs (sales, share, traffic, conversion, ROAS) with clear accountability
  • Own and optimize core growth levers including traffic, conversion, assortment, availability, and pricing
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior stakeholders

Set and Drive Amazon Strategy

  • Define and execute the holistic Amazon strategy across Retail, Media, Content, and Search
  • Develop annual and multi-year growth strategies that identify new opportunities beyond existing business trends
  • Lead Annual Vendor Negotiations (AVN) and manage all customer terms and agreements
  • Make data-driven decisions to prioritize investments, resolve trade-offs, and accelerate performance

Optimize Trade & Investment Efficiency

  • Own trade funds and promotional strategy to maximize ROI and incrementality
  • Evaluate event performance using a test-and-learn approach and optimize future investment
  • Continuously improve trade spend efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce waste

Lead Full-Funnel Media & Digital Execution

  • Partner with Media and Content teams to co-own full-funnel performance (DSP, Sponsored Ads, etc.)
  • Ensure alignment between media investment, retail readiness, and conversion outcomes
  • Optimize digital shelf execution including PDP content, search visibility, and conversion drivers

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Media, Content, Category Management, and Demand Planning teams
  • Navigate cross-functional complexity to align priorities and drive outcomes across a matrixed organization
  • Identify and lead step-change improvements across processes, tools, and ways of working

Strengthen Amazon Partnership

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers and key stakeholders
  • Act as the primary point of contact and category expert for Energizer
  • Influence Amazon to unlock new growth opportunities and improve joint business outcomes

Specific Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly Amazon business plans
  • Drive assortment strategy, item lifecycle management, and new product launches
  • Optimize pricing strategy and monitor competitive dynamics
  • Own customer forecasting and partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to deliver industry-leading forecast accuracy while mitigating supply risk and preventing out-of-stocks
  • Leverage internal (Profitero, Power BI) and external (Vendor Central, Amazon Retail Analytics) tools to generate insights and optimize performance
