Job description

Position Overview

Radiant Mental Health Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote, full-time team. This vital position involves providing therapeutic support and guidance to clients in a community health clinic setting. You will play a critical role in enhancing the well-being of individuals seeking mental health support and intervention.

About the Organization

At Radiant Mental Health Associates, our mission is to deliver exceptional mental health services that empower individuals and families to reach their full potential. As a leading mental health practice based in Salem, Oregon, we prioritize client-centered care and employ evidence-based practices to foster long-term recovery and stability in the lives of our patients.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting. We understand the importance of work-life balance and provide our employees the autonomy to create their schedules while benefiting from our in-house support for credentialing and insurance management. Our service hours span Monday through Saturday, allowing for a variety of working arrangements to accommodate your needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the needs of individuals, families, and groups, ensuring accurate triaging and treatment planning based on the unique circumstances of each client.
  • Deliver effective clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, tailored to the individual service plans of your clients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through regular documentation and participation in patient rounds to discuss treatment progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Provide case management by liaising with hospital and community professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for assigned patients, enhancing their support network.
  • Maintain ethical and prompt documentation practices, ensuring all records reflect the quality and timeliness expected in a mental health setting.
  • Support the emotional and psychological well-being of patients by fulfilling their physical, educational, social, and safety needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with clients in an outpatient setting, which includes individuals of various agesโ€”adolescents, adults, and families. This diverse demographic requires sensitivity and adaptability in your approach, as you will address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role is to empower clients through understanding and targeted intervention, focusing on their unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continuous improvement in providing mental health services.
Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in outpatient mental health therapy utilizing evidence-based practices, such as CBT and trauma-informed care, is highly preferred. A background in case management and collaborative work with community agencies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials. In addition to a rewarding salary, we offer:

  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Professional liability insurance to provide peace of mind as you navigate client care.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Access to professional development opportunities, including workshops and continuing education, to help you expand your skillset and advance your career.
Career Growth Opportunities

Radiant Mental Health Associates is committed to fostering professional development and offering pathways for growth within our organization. You will receive ongoing supervision and support designed to empower you in your career journey, whether you aspire to specialize further, pursue leadership roles, or expand your practice expertise.

Why Join Our Team

By joining our team, you will become part of a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages innovation and excellence in mental health care. You will have the chance to work alongside like-minded professionals who are dedicated to making a difference in the community. Your contributions will not only impact the lives of your clients but also support the overall mission and values of Radiant Mental Health Associates.
